Art Prject - Sewing and Embroidery.
Sebastian made the face on the right. He learned the basic blanket stitch to sew the bottom, and to fasten the eyes and the hair. He learned the basic chain stitch for the mouth.
We got this idea to make a boat out of one of the grade 2 books. Sebastian used materials from the recyclying box, mostly milk cartons. It floats pretty well!
